May choke on a variety of foods
A Physical milestone for the 1-5 years age range.
TIP: Do not let your child eat unattended, as young children can choke even on non-risky foods. Typical choking hazards include "hard to chew" foods like steak; "small and round" foods like hot dogs, grapes, peanuts, popcorn; and "sticky" foods like peanut butter. Hot dogs and grapes should be cut into strips instead of rounds.
